The Theatre Club and Its Double
Hi, I'm Marie Hatch and this is my first time writing for a game 🎉.
In it, your best friend joined my ensemble for my latest play "The Theatre Club and Its Double".
It's a tale as old as time. Boy meets girls. Girls stage a Theatre show. And there's cake. It is a heartbreaking tale of old friendships, new love, and dramatic theory. There are ups and downs and stage rights and lefts, and true and false exits.
Through it all, always remember one of the oldest sayings in the Theatre. Even if you forget your lines, the technician missed her cue or someone dies on stage a prop breaks: The show must go on.

Install instructions
Windows
1. Save the file to the location you want.
2. Right click and choose "extract all" or "extract to".
3. In the folder you extracted the file to, double click on "Theatreclub".
There might be a blue pop-up saying the program will harm your computer. Press "More info" on the left then choose "Run anyway."
Mac
1. Save the file to the location you want.
2. Unzip to your desired location.
3. Right-Click on "Theatreclub" and press "Open"
4. After the game finished loading you might get a permission request for your documents folder. This permission is required to save and load save games.
There might be a popup warning you that the developer can't be verified. You should be able to run it anyway if you open if with the right click method described above.
Browser (beta)
You should be able to play it in your browser on pretty much all devices, but I would recommend some kind of laptop. You can also play it on your phone, and it should work, but it is not the best experience due to UI scaling.
